Job Overview

U Microfinance Bank is looking for Customer Service Officers to work at its branches in several cities in Pakistan. This job is in charge of providing excellent customer service by overseeing the processes of opening, maintaining, and closing accounts while making sure that all banking rules and regulations are followed.

The position is very important for managing customer relationships at the branch level because it helps customers understand banking products, handles service requests quickly, and keeps accurate records to make sure that banking is as smooth as possible.


Key Responsibilities

  • Give customers clear information about bank products, policies, and the paperwork they need to open an account.Provide accurate guidance to customers regarding bank products, policies, and account documentation requirements
  • Answer questions from customers about how to open an account and the forms they need.
  • Do all the steps needed to open an account, such as checking forms, receiving the first deposit, entering the information into the system, and creating the account number.
  • Make sure that KYC requirements are met correctly according to bank rules and regulations.
  • Check, scan, and keep specimen signature cards up to date.
  • Keep track of Zakat status, mail accounts, inactive accounts, and mail that hasn’t been delivered.
  • Oversee the issuance and processing of checkbooks, making sure they are delivered without any mistakes.
  • Take care of account maintenance requests quickly and correctly.
  • Handle requests to close accounts, making sure that any fees are taken out and any profits are paid out (if there are any).
  • Keep Account Opening Forms in line with the bank’s Operational Manual and rules for following the law.
  • To improve satisfaction and keep customers, build and keep strong relationships with them.
  • Help customers after they buy something and help with efforts to get deposits moving.
  • Do any extra work that the line manager asks you to do.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Fresh graduates to candidates with up to 2 years of branch banking experience
