About the Role
A dynamic and results-oriented Relationship Officer Deposit is needed to join Mobilink Bank’s expanding team in Islamabad. As a Relationship Officer in Deposit Banking, you will be in charge of managing relationships with both individual and business clients. Your main goals will be to manage deposit accounts, get new customers, and grow your portfolio. Your knowledge will directly help us reach our goals for growing our liability business and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Portfolio Management
- Use full customer acquisition strategies to build a strong portfolio that supports liability growth and team cross-sell goals.
- Create and keep up a portfolio of CASA (Current Account Savings Account) and Term Deposit customers within a set amount of time.
- Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for all deposit products, such as CASA, savings accounts, and term deposits.
Team Development & Leadership
- Hire and train freelancers and brand ambassadors to make a 25-person deposit mobilization team for marketing retail deposits.
- Lead marketing efforts for retail deposits to reach more customers and grow the market.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Keep the right mix of CASA and term deposits in your portfolio.
- Get fairly priced deposits to help retail deposits grow by getting multiple accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with important potential clients
- Keep an eye on the daily rates of deposit mobilization and opening new accounts for people who are new to the bank (NTB).
Customer Service Excellence
- Get help from Relationship Managers and Branch Managers to solve client problems and face challenges.
- Find chances to cross-sell and upsell to current clients
- Deliver outstanding support to keep Mobilink operational. The favorable reputation of the bank
- Respond to consumer complaints in a timely and expert manner.
Strategic Coordination
- Make sure that all goals are in line with the bank’s rules, policies, and plans.
- Keep working together with the internal branch units.
- Keep an eye on what your competitors are doing to keep MMBL clients.
- Do any extra tasks and assignments that your line manager tells you to do.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics, finance, or a related field from a well-known school
Skills & Knowledge
- A deep understanding of deposit products and how they work
- A full understanding of CASA and bilinear basics to help CASA grow
- Great communication and people skills
- Proven ability to build and keep relationships with clients
- A results-oriented mindset and strong sales skills
Experience
- At least one year of relevant experience in sales, management, and operations in retail or consumer banking or a related field is preferred but not required.
